I love this recipe. I upscaled a little. I used 12 Oz of fresh green beans, cut in 1 " lengths and 3 Oz fresh oyster/shitake mushroom mix. It is lent, so I used half a cube of knorr fish boullion instead of chicken. I also used Guyere cheese, my flavor bomb.

@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Rating
{"@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Review
2023-03-24
@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Person
Sandra891

I made this and it was exceptional. However, I modified the directions fairly substantially. If you're interested in my twist here it is:

1. Add 1/2 cup boiling water to bouillon and stir. Set aside.

2. Add 2 T olive oil to large pan. When oil is hot, add the frozen green beans, chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, and chopped celery. Cook, stirring often, until onion is glassy, 5-7 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook about one minute. Add the bouillon and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

3. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and milk until smooth; add dill weed, salt and pepper and then gradually add to vegetable mixture. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in cheese and mayonnaise until cheese is melted.

4. Place cooked noodles and tuna in your favorite greased casserole baking dish. Spoon the veggie and sauce mixture into the noodles and tuna and mix well. Mix bread crumbs into melted butter in a separate dish and sprinkle over casserole.

5. Bake, uncovered, at 350° until heated through, 25-30 minutes.

@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Rating
{"@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Review
2025-02-01
@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Person
amygerman15
