There are differences in moisture in the flour, and the weather is also a factor. My rule of thumb: never dump in the full amount of flour in the recipe all at once. Add half the flour to the recommended liquid, then add the rest in increments, until you reach the right consistency. Maybe this will help some who have had trouble.
