I have made this recipe when I first saw it many years ago in this magazine and a ton of times since. My favorite go-to chocolate cake recipe. I add another 1\/2 stick of cream cheese, 1\/4 cup more sugar, 1\/2 cup cream and frost it all over. A favorite of everybody else, too. I also use the frosting in cannolis and my strawberry supreme cake. Wow this is so good. I had to google the difference between a torte and a cake but wow is this good. It's easy because it's a box cake mix but the topping is amazing!
