I have been making these cookies since 2004, when the recipe first appeared in Taste Recipes. A few years ago, my wife and I started a food truck and catering business. We've served dozens and dozens of these cookies, and people eat them slowly, savoring every bite. I doubled the recipe, used a #40 disher (scoop), and got four dozen cookies out of a batch.
