This is an amazing cake recipe though I did change it up a bit. Artificial sweeteners giver me migraines so used regular instant pudding mix. Went with a full size cake mix, full fat cream cheese, TruWhip and skipped the nuts. Personally I find marichino cherries to be disgusting and using amarena cherries added a bit of decadence. I think this is definitely a 5 start recipe; it's delicious, simple, and inexpensive. I too replaced some of the low\/non-fat ingredients with regular stuff. But, I do like that you added the healthier low calory options. I found an off brand 1.34 oz box sugar-free vanilla pudding at Walmart that worked out great. A couple suggestions on the directions: Step 1. Simply bake the cake following the direction on the box (I used Betty Crocker's; theirs are 13.25 oz). Step 2. when done, pour the pudding mix into a smaller bowl and do Step 3 in the same large bowl, then pour the small bowl into the large bowl; also mix in the pineapple in step 3...
