I did not have chunky applesauce. I'd used 5 UNPEELED apples, cut in chunks, kept the dried apricots and cranberries, sugar and butter were kept as is. Used my stovetop and cooked 20 to 25 minutes. I'd added 1\/4 tsp. allspice, and used 1\/2 tsp. ground cinnamon and 1\/4 tsp. nutmeg. I used 1 can of sliced peaches and pears and I also had added a can of fruit cocktail. (15-oz. each of canned fruit). I'd also used an 8-oz can of undrained pineapple chunks. NOTE: I cook for myself, so I have made adjustments on the recipes I try! I don't have a slow-cooker, so I use my stovetop! For me, this works out nicely!<\/p>","reviewRating":{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Rating","ratingValue":5,"worstRating":1,"bestRating":5}},{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Review","datePublished":"2013-09-19","author":{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Person","name":"PurpleScissors"},"reviewBody":"I have made this recipe numerous times for different groups.
