We\u2019ll show you how to make cornbread dressing step-by-step so it\u2019s nearly impossible to mess up.<\/p>\n Preheat the oven to 375\u00b0F. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.<\/p>\n In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, water, milk and oil.<\/p>\n Stir the egg mixture into the flour mixture just until blended.<\/p>\n Scrape the batter into a greased 8 inch square baking pan. Bake the cornbread until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 15 to 20 minutes.
