Sooooo easy!! As someone who never bakes, this recipes came out perfectly! I made a dozen muffins, and then used the remaining batter to make a quick bread loaf. This muffin is identical to my decades old stand by recipe {from Dysart's Truck Stop in northern Maine} with noted exception; their recipe uses the whole 15 ounce can of pumpkin puree. Increase baking by 5 minutes.<\/p>

Really good fall recipe. I cut the sugar by 1\/3, which I do routinely. Also, instead of crumb topping, I just put a pinch of coarse sugar on top of each. Batter seems really thick and dry, but apples moisten it during baking so don't be tempted to add more liquid.
