First try, I followed directions exactly. Second try, I used juice from a squeezed orange to make my cornstarch slurry...added a wonderful flavor - most other recipes use lemon juice, which I find only exaggerates the bitterness that raspberries have. I read other reviews that the sauce was too thin, I didn't find that to be true. Before straining the sauce, I put it in my Nutri-bullet for a minute, then strain - I think the natural pectin in the seeds helps thicken it a bit. I didn't find straining a problem at all - getting the seeds off of the strainer was the hardest part. I loved this sauce so much that I started an account, just to be able to review.
