Disappointing recipe. I fell in love with fried ice cream many years ago when Chi-Chis Restaurant was still around when I was a kid. There are some obvious mistakes in the recipe such as working in batches after you scoop the ice cream to be rolled. If you scoop according to these directions you either have to work super fast to roll and coat or place the scoops in the freezer and THEN dip and roll them and freeze them again for frying.
