This was excellent. I am a baking novice so I went about this very carefully, and while some of the visuals could use improvement, I was very happy with the flavors in this, and the textures were fantastic. I will confess I had to double the apricot filling to be able to cover both of its intended layers. Perhaps I did not let it or the cake cool enough and it soaked in?
