Fantastic for a hot day\/summer dinner dessert. A few tips: I whipped the cream to a really stiff whip, more than I normally would to stand up to folding things in. Saved a bowl and just mixed the instant espresso and water in the bowl that I'd make the mocha flavored layer in. Made my own chocolate syrup -- much better than store bought, although a good quality option would be fine. Extended the foil pan liner up a bit to ensure it wouldn't overflow the pan -- so easy to freeze and transport to a dinner at someone's home. I topped with a bit of extra chocolate syrup. This is SO good! For my specific ingredients I used: Trader Joe's Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste (instead of vanilla extract), Delallo Instant Espresso Powder (instead of instant coffee granules) and Hershey Sundae Dream Syrup (as my chocolate syrup choice). It does fill to the TOP of the bread pan size noted. If you don't care about slices and want to be able to cover your dessert while it freezes\/at all, you may want to opt for an 8x8 pan. I just made this and put it in the freezer. Of course, I couldn't resist tasting the yumminess, so I know it is good. The only deviation I used.... I thinned down a very good brand of hot fudge instead of using the choc syrup. <\/p>
I really appreciate everyone's input on this one. Lots of great suggestions I took from, and I have one to share: <\/p>
There is a need for garnishment. I will be preparing the instant coffee w\/water, then stirring some of it into a pat of butter and melted semi-sweet choc chips, then drizzling it on the top before serving.<\/p>

I used a Hazelnut flavored instant coffee and cut up chocolate covered almonds on top of it. Turned out amazing. I was really careful folding in the whipped heavy cream and not just stirring it. Also had to make sure that the cream was fully whipped. After I added hot water to the instant coffee I let it sit for a few minutes to cool so it wouldn't melt the cream mixture. I used a 9x5 loaf pan and it filled right to the top. Tasted incredible the next afternoon ( I kept it in the freezer overnight). Will definitely be adding this recipe to my favorites.
