I was very disappointed with the recipe. I chose to cut the recipe in half as this recipe was not yet rated, and 7 dozen cookies were many more than I needed. The photo looked appetizing, and the ingredient list was inviting. It seems that the measurement of liquid to dry ingredients may be off as the cookie dough was very wet. I revisited my adjustments to ensure they were accurate. There may be a possibility cake mix content has been reduced as many companies have changed the volume on what used to be standard measures (i.e., cereals, flour, sugar, ice cream...) After baking the cookies remained softer than I would have preferred, however the apricot preserves complemented the baked pecan coating.<\/p>
