I have made this casserole several times over the past couple of years. Absolutely delicious and very easy recipe. It is an excellent recipe for our resident super-senior who has dental issues, so I saut\u00e9 the celery and steam the broccoli first to make them softer for her. I also use reduced-fat soup and cheese for me, another medical dietary restriction. Both changes still yielded a delicious and well-received recipe. Recipes are not meant to be exact though some can be. They can be made into our own. That's the beauty of recipes. So after sifting through nasty comments and thumbs downs from people who don't get that fact, I want to say that this recipe is very versatile. The cheese can be changed up, more liquids added, or different veggies can be substituted or added to the broccoli that has already been put into the recipe. It is a quick, week night meal suited for families, couples, or a single person looking to have many meals out of this dish and save a few bucks. Thanks so much for the recipe. I added a bit of chicken broth and a splash of cream (along with the milk) and changed up the cheese as I'm not a fan of Swiss, but it was great. I served it with a garden salad, like you.
