This recipe has quickly become the Thanksgiving (and Christmas Eve) go-to in our house. The extra crunch from the water chestnuts, the fresh flavor from the green beans and mushrooms, the small amount of acidity from the chili paste that helps to cut through some of the rich fat of the holidays. Just great all around. I will say, we use sambal for our chili paste, and use closer to a TBSP.
