In summer I use my slow cooker a lot. I never thought of trying bbq chicken until I saw this recipe. The only thing I did different was brown my thighs in a fry pan instead of a broiler as it's too hot in my place to turn on the oven. Instead of salt and pepper I used adobo and smoked paprika. It was a tasty meal. We had leftovers so I removed the skin and bones put the meat in a container with some of the sauce it cooked in. The next day I just put the leftovers in a pot. The chicken basically shredded itself. The bbq chicken sandwiches were amazing. This recipe made 2 wonderful meals.
