Like another reviewer, my Mom used to fix this years ago. I also added an onion, just sliced it over the top of the chops when I put them in the slow cooker and didn't use Liquid Smoke because I didn't have any. This was so delicious! I forgot to take the chops out of the freezer, so I just decided to try throwing them in partially frozen. It worked great - I didn't even brown them(cause they were too frozen!:{), just added the salt, pepper and garlic powder to the ketchup mixture to keep the flavours. They were in for pretty much exactly 4 hours on low - turned out perfect!
