Made this foir Mother's Day today. I made it in 2- 9 inch square pans for easier transport (plus I had 2 places to go, one for each) cake was really good, the pudding added a nice richness. However I was not thrilled with the almond extract. It was a little strong. I am sure it covered the artificial sweetner flavor of the pudding though and since I hate the aftertaste of artificial sugar I can appreciate it. I will try a little vanilla extract next time. Was a good cake overall but might be better with white cake, vanilla pudding and vanilla extract like some reviewers have suggested.<\/p>
