Made the recipe into cupcakes. Baked about 15 minutes at 350. It made more than 24 cupcakes so I poured the rest into a little glass dish and when it was done, we had to try it. We all thought it was super moist with a beautiful dense texture that tasted surprisingly good! We haven\u2019t made the frosting yet, but, quite frankly, it is really good as is. I made no changes to it and my 3 and 5 year old daughters helped me. I usually dislike boxed cake mixes and Jello gelatin, so I resisted making this for quite some time. I\u2019m glad I broke down and tried it. This was an excellent way to make a boxed cake mix top notch!<\/p>
I thought the frosting was too sweet and not very complimentary, so to save it, I added about 8 oz of cream cheese. And I barely frosted the cupcakes.
